Street photography as modern photojournalism, a form of art

   A lot has been written about the French photographer Henri Cartier Bresson, the parent of modern photojournalism and the one who raised street photography and  portrait snapshots at a highly artistic level.

   Among other photographers and photojournalists from all over the world, I am an admirer of this great artist's work, which has had a definite influence on my photographic style and techniques.

   Jeff Ascough, the British wedding  photojournalist, also talks about Bresson in his biography.
